REU Imaging in the Physical Sciences Application

Applications due February 12th, candidates will begin to be informed by March 12th.

The Imaging in the Physical Sciences Research Program is a 10 week research experience from June 8 to August 16, 2014. Including a research project in a specific lab, housing on the RIT campus (if required), research development experiences (paper writing, giving presentations, etc...) and the opportunity to travel to a national conference to present research results. All participants will have the opportunity to interact with the whole research community of the Center for Imaging Science. Frequently Asked Questions

Do my recommenders have extra time to get their letters to you after the deadline? What about transcripts from my school?
Yes to both. IT is essential that your applications is completed by February 12th, but we will continue following up for additional materials that we require beyond that date.

How do my recommenders get their letters to you?
Your recommenders will be contacted via email with instructions about how to upload their recommendation letters. You will be informed via email when the recommendations have been received.

Do I have to obtain an official transcript?
Official transcripts are preferred, but an unofficial transcript printed from your schools online system will also be accepted, but we may ask for further verification.

My school will only mail out official transcripts, what should I do?
You can upload a text file that says "Transcript will follow via mail", and then have your school send the transcript to: Jake Noel-Storr, RIT Center for Imaging Science, 54 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, NY 14623
